Despite economic downturn, promises that were not kept, and delay after delay – zero hour  is finally approaching. My original intention was to roll out the first of my pay sites, Fem Dom Fascination, in Fall ‘08 — but my best laid plans failed to materialize.

But we’re moving forward again, with Fem Dom Fascination and two other niche sites now in the final stages of development. With the roll out just around the corner,  I’ve taken a moment to look at the competition.

The review sites – like Fetish Fish and Rabbit Review – have plenty of interesting pay sites listed in the Fem Dom category. 78 in the case of Fish, and 86 for Rabbit. Lady Sonia comes high up on both lists – and you know what I think of Lady S.  In fact, if you’ve been following my posts, you’ll probably be getting a sense that I don’t think very highly of any of the pay sites out there. And you’d be right – but I do have my favorites.

When you look at the long list of sites as a whole, it’s clear that Fem Dom Fetish has a very broad audience with a wide range of interests. A dozen or so are fixated on those amongst us with a fixation for feet. Then there’s a herd of sites devoted to trampling and smothering. A wagon load of latex and rubber. A painful supply of CBT, as Ball Busting seems to be in vogue these days. Endless strap-on scenarios. And the usual sprinkling of mistresses being mean. Snarling around the bullwhips they clench in their mouths, teeth bared, crimson lips glistening. Looking like they know about as much about Domination as I do of Quantum Physics. Which is zero.

While all these sites deal with Fetish and focus on fetishes, they consistently fail to understand the real nature of the Female Domination fascination. Given that the average price for a 30 day membership is $27.45 – that’s a lot of money some enthusiasts are handing over for what I would consider to be B-level Fem Dom at best. Personally, I’d give about 60% of all Fem Dom sites an F.

So, you ask, are there any sites that get the La Fong Seal of Approval? Yes, about 10% get a thumbs up, one thumb that is. Of the CBT/Ballbusting sites I like “Club Dom” – and Lady Cheyenne is cute and deadly. “The English Mansion” gets it, and they’re well organized and have excellent production.

“Chanta’s Bitches” is consistently entertaining – although has little artistic merit. (You have to realize that Fetish should have a strong Art element, which is why some people get confused and think it’s not Pornography). “Mistress Jennifer” is low budget, but she has an understanding. “Pantyhose Supremacy” is obviously focused on a fetish object – shiny, encasing nylon – but it has a good Fem Dom Attitude. “Fem Dom Captions” (with its sister “Sissy Captions”) is a lot of fun and a clever concept. Christine Kessler’s “My Fetish Diary” looks good, tastes good and, by gosh, it does you good.

But Discovery of the Day, and Two La Fong Thumbs Up, goes to “Balkan Brat Domination”. At last, someone – and surprisingly in Eastern Europe – really gets it.

There’s a dramatic story going on at Balkan Brat. The attitude of the Dominatrix is perfect. The photography consistently interesting and fresh. The settings a world away from dreary faux dungeons. True, there’s a little too much foot worship for my taste – and I’m not sure how they’re going to maintain long term interest – but you can’t have everything. Not until FemDom Fascination goes live!
