A few weeks ago, someone very kindly brought me a copy of the San Francisco Bay Guardian featuring a 3 page article on the Donald Trump of Fetish, Mr. Peter Acworth.
The article centred on Mr. Acworth’s $14.5 million purchase of the former San Francisco Armory which, at 200,000 square feet, is the largest space devoted to the production of fetish content in the western world.

Fascinating information was revealed about Mr. Acworth and his Kink.com empire, not least that he is English (and aren’t most fetish pornographers?), his Mom is a sculptor and his Dad is a former Jesuit priest.

I’ve been meaning to write about the Tantric concept of Dark Eros for some time, and feel that some of the elements discussed will lead relatively easily into Sex Magick – which also deserves some delving into. Dark Eros and Sex Magick are huge subjects – much too deep for the Archives to do much more than skim the surface. Dark Eros, particularly, informs the La Fong world view of Fetish, and is the intellectual and psychological foundation of each niche site that I intend to launch. So here’s a word on that.

American Hard Core Director, Jean-Pierre Ferrand was a very close and dear friend of mine. He passed away a few years ago and I miss him. Ferrand made some excellent hard-core movies during the 80’s and 90’s and was well respected in the industry. He taught me a great deal about the American approach to hard core – and those were difficult lessons for me because I always resisted the formula. In fact, I have a Problem with Porn – something Ferrand and I discussed many times.
