Out of the Past

This one made me laugh. I was snooping around online, googling “La Fong” and all things connected to me and I found a journal entry written by someone I don’t remember – but who clearly remembers me.  I copied an excerpt for your amusement (and mine).

“I had the misfortune to meet Mr. Carl La Fong while on vacation in Europe in 1986. I had taken my wife on an extended tour, showing her the sights of London, Paris, and Rome. My wife (we are now divorced) was an exceptionally cold and cruel woman, whose chief pleasure was in mocking me and spending my money.

Fetish Cinema

I’m intrigued when Fetish leaks into cinema – be it mainstream or ‘arthouse’. Perhaps one of the most amazing presentations of ‘fetish’ was a film made for the general public in 1958 – Alfred Hitchcock’s “Vertigo” starring the ever-vanilla James Stewart and 50′s sexpot Kim Novak. It remains a jaw-droppingly amazing portrayal of a man in the grip of a sexual obsession.
